The client relationship that started the practice.

Gamma Nu Zeta was iCandy Webs’ first client. The surviving archive reaches back to June 2010, and by May 2015 I was already describing the chapter as a client for well over seven years. The work has continued through changing chapter leadership and multiple generations of web technology, culminating in a complete rebuild of gammanuzeta.org in 2026.

The exact start date predates the surviving email archive; 2015 correspondence already described the relationship as more than seven years old.

01 — Where it started

Before there was a portfolio, there was Gamma Nu Zeta.

Gamma Nu Zeta was the first client of iCandy Webs, the practice that later became Ronin Labs.

The oldest surviving email, sent June 3, 2010 under the subject “Website,” is not an introduction — it shows the chapter site already under administration and the info@gammanuzeta.org group being set up.

A May 7, 2015 email to a different prospect described Gamma Nu Zeta as “a client of ours for well over 7 years now,” which places the start of the relationship no later than 2008. The exact date is not established by the surviving archive.

Across the relationship the scope covered the chapter's public site and the accounts, domain, and payment paths behind it.

    Registration, renewal, and transfer of gammanuzeta.org.

    @gammanuzeta.org administration on Google Apps, later Google Workspace.

    Member and officer accounts, aliases, password resets, and role permissions.

  • Payments

    PayPal-based donations, dues, and event ticketing paths.

  • Forms + private content

    Gravity Forms and WordPress permissions for member-only content.

  • Google for Nonprofits

    Eligibility and setup support for the chapter.

03 — Selected moments from the archive

  1. June 2010

    Website and chapter email already under administration

    A sent email titled “Website” documents the chapter site under active administration and the setup of the info@gammanuzeta.org group.

  2. 2012–2013

    Payments, domain, and accounts

    Online payments, domain administration, member email accounts and password resets, Google Apps administration, and website and member-content updates.

  3. 2017–2019

    Site updates and member access

    Ongoing site updates, Stork’s Nest content, photo galleries, domain renewals, transition meetings, WordPress permissions, private content, Gravity Forms, and role-based access.

  4. 2022

    Google for Nonprofits

    Support with Google for Nonprofits eligibility and setup for the chapter.

  5. 2024

    Revamp discussions begin

    The chapter begins discussing a broader digital-brand and website revamp.

  6. August 2026

    New website launched

    A completely new gammanuzeta.org launched on the existing domain.

04 — The 2026 rebuild

A new site for a relationship that already had history.

In August 2026 a completely new gammanuzeta.org launched on the chapter's existing domain, modernizing the public presentation while keeping the chapter's established content areas intact.

Gamma Nu Zeta is the relationship that predates the portfolio. The technology changed, chapter leadership changed, and the site changed with it. The responsibility stayed.
